Happenings!

Well, its been seriously long since i updated my blog. Life has been hectic and I am sure its pretty much for everyone else. I have been swamped with studies but still have managed to have my outings. Last month, we attended a farewell party for Ezra because he was leaving Brainchild=(. I always found him to be such an amazing guy and he used to work amazingly! Well, the party was at Souled Out so Roshan, Rubern, Billy, Jin and I went there later because they were handling an event at Taylors Hartamas and I have no habit of going anywhere before Roshan does. When we reached there, just 5 minutes later all decided to head to Cavells. Nice place but DANGEROUS ( with the existence of that one particular drink, TANGKACHI)

Roshan ordered one for Ezra, Rye, Mathew, Billy, and Rubern( he wanted one himself*rolls eyes*). While waiting for the Tangkachi we snapped pictures!

Khloe=)

Rye, Andrew and Ezra.

Rubern and Kim. ( AHEM AHEM)

WTF Rubern?

These are the pictures when Tangkachi came to action!

Gone.

Super the gone!

I love these two=)

Overall, it was a fun night and it was the night i went out with Roshan after our huge fight so yeah, this one is definitely to remember!

Pretty ei? one of the few sane pictures we have=)

Been too long.

Its been so long since i last blogged. I have been so busy with work and studies! OMG this short semester is killing me. With events graphic design, project work and hospitality support services... i see the end of my brains by march=( Its goin to be super the fried!

I did my practical Banquesting last week at Sunway Convention Centre... it was torturous! We had an idiotic Banquet Manager who kept getting on our nerves. Only wish i could tie him up to a chair and slap him for a good 15 times. Seriously... try working with him and then you guys will understand what pain i went through. First time in life, i told myself i will never waste food again. The event was a company's annual dinner and the menu was chinese food and it was a 7 course meal. Looking at all the food we had to throw after each course was such a pain...my heart ached everytime i did that. Us, being so hungry at that moment felt so stupid and guilty to have thrown away all the food that the guests at our tables did not finish. Worst part, we could not even eat the leftovers=( Now i feel how the children in Haiti and probably some parts of the world feel. Its a horrible feeling to have no food. We, just hungry for 10 hours could already feel so terrible what about children and people around the world without food? Gave me something to really think about.

Best part, i am so proud of myself. ever since that day, i have been finishing every meal of mine without wasting a single grain of rice=) Opened my eyes this incident, really.

Well, i have lots more to write but till next time=) Adios.

Its great=)

Well, i have finally moved into Palmville Resort Condominium and its gorgeous. Such lovely landscaping and the condominium is such a quie area and so peaceful. I love it=). Papa and mummy also like the place so much but shifting my things in was such a hassel!(not to mention the number of boxes i had...12!I must really stop shopping) We left for KL on Thursday and mummy stayed with me until yesterday. She helped me unpack and arrange my room and she also bought stuff for the room like pails, foodstuff and all neccesary things. It would have been so difficult without her. Papa had work so he could no stay with us but he definitely was here with us on the phone constantly and so was his credit card=).

The room looks lovely now. Everything is set and the rom is very spacious I must say. Mummy got me new bedsheet and comforter set and its very comfortable. I wish i could put up pictures of my place but I do not have a camera. I shall do so when i have the chance. Till then, adios!

Not to be missed.

3 idiots. The title sounds so stupid and nonsensical but suprisingly, the movie, 3 idiots is one movie i would always be able to watch over and over again and never get bored of it because there is fun, laughter, touching moments and also lessons to be learnt and applied to in real life.

3 idiots is a Hindi movie produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra acted by Aamir Khan, Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor and Boman Irani( main roles). I know that most people start laughing and making insults when anyone says that they watched a good Hindi movie. Everyone mostly has an impression of Hindi movie as to, the actor and actress dancing around the tree when they are in love and a group of gangsters being bashed up by one single hero, but this movie is simply spectacular. There are no such elements or scenes as mentioned above and the movie was shot with such detail and i would have to say... This is one of the best movies i have watched in my entire 20 years!

The lessons taught and potreyed in this movie were so good and clear. This is one movie that is able to teach parents and college students both a lesson at one time. For parents; to allow your children to pursue what they want to and not force them to be what you want them to be and college students;to live your life and stop chasing after success, but after where your passion lies.

Me, having a good set of parents who allowed me to study what i really love which is Events Management did not feel anything but happy and proud that i have parents who understand me. But what hit me was that i am not living the life of a college student. I am chasing after good grades and living life is if it was a race until i forget to cherish and experience every beautiful moment i have in college, which will not last a lifetime. This movie taught me about friendship and appreciating all relationships i have and to make full use of it by letting all the people i know that i care and love them deeply.

There were no intimate love scenes in this movie, absolutely nothing. Pia,played by Kareena Kapoor falls in love with Rancho, played by Aamir Khan after he makes her realise that she is worth more than what her fiance thinks she is worth. The bond shared between Pia and Rancho was so pure and clean and this is definitely such a new thing to see compared to all the other movies being made today. In this movie, the stories shared by these two characters and the strength they gave each other meant a lot more than seeing these two engaged physically with one another. It was fresh, and different=)

I laughed, i cried, i smiled throughout the movie. The best movie i have watched so far and if any of you are reading this... watch this movie. For those who cant understand Hindi, subtitles are sufficient. Definitely not to be missed.

Moving In

Starting 6th of Jan 2010, i will be leaving alone...all by myself. Before this, i had the company of my brother under one roof and i would know i would not be goin back to an empty house, but now things are different. Yes,i have to admit i was pretty happy and relieved that i will not have to worry about mess in the house, him not doing his laundry and the dishes, the vacumming and almost every chore possible in the house! But now... i will not have anybody to scream at and talk to when i am down. It is slightly different but lets look at the bright side and enjoy the peaceful-ness and joy of living alone, like a college student=).

Palmville Resort Condominium is a lovely place. I am living with an Indonesian girl and another girl whom i have not met yet. I will be staying in a double-bed room with an attached bathroom. I will update you guys further when i am finally living the life at Palmville.
